July 2025 – Boryeong Mud Festival

Get Messy, Snack Happy – July’s Boryeong Mud Festival Box!

Every July in South Korea, thousands flock to the coastal city of Boryeong for one reason – mud! But not just any mud – nutrient-rich, mineral-packed mud that’s celebrated with wild games, muddy wrestling, K-pop concerts, and all-out, joy-filled chaos.

To celebrate the Boryeong Mud Festival, this month’s box was inspired by all things playful, indulgent and full of texture. Whether you’re diving into a mud pool or just lounging on your sofa, these snacks brought the party to you – no passport required.

Let’s get messy… snack-style!

🧇 Pei Tien Konjac Brown Rice Rolls (Chocolate & Seaweed Flavours)

Just like the festival – these crunchy rolls are full of surprise! The chocolate version is light yet rich, while the seaweed flavour adds a savoury, umami twist. Made with brown rice and konjac, they’re a smart, satisfying snack to fuel your muddy adventures.

🥥 A-Taste Coconut Thin Crackers

Like a breezy beach after the mud, these ultra-thin crackers are crisp and mellow with the subtle sweetness of coconut. Delicate, tropical, and refreshing – perfect after a day of festival fun.

🌽 Frito Lay Cheetos Snapz (Corn Soup Flavour)

Corn potage is a classic Korean comfort dish, and this crunchy snack version delivers the same cosy flavour in bite-sized form. A crunchy contrast to the smooth, squishy textures elsewhere in the box!

🍜 Samyang Tangle Garlic Oil Pasta

Bold, rich and deliciously garlicky – this noodle dish is packed with flavour and serious bite. A great way to warm up after an imaginary mudslide.

🐟 Meito Pukupuku Tai Fish Wafer (Bubbly Chocolate)

Light, crispy and filled with bubbly chocolate – this taiyaki-shaped treat is as fun to eat as a mud festival is to attend. The airy texture makes it feel like you’re biting into a chocolatey cloud.

🍫 Oreo Cocoa Crispy Rolls (Rich Chocolate Flavour)

This one’s for the chocolate lovers – rich cream, crispy wafer, and layers of cocoa goodness. Like diving into a mud bath, but make it edible.

🍊 Royal Family Fruit Mochi (Orange, Melon & Strawberry)

Soft, chewy and filled with fruity jam – this Taiwanese mochi trio was all about squish. Each bite is like a splash of colour against the grey of the mud – chewy, juicy, and oh-so-satisfying.

🌽 Yaokin Umaibo Corn Puff (Corn Potage Flavour)

Another take on the beloved Korean-style corn soup – this puffy stick is sweet, savoury and totally addictive. A classic Japanese street snack, perfect for festival vibes.

Kopiko Coffee Candy

Need a boost after all the (imaginary) mud wrestling? These tiny candies pack a real caffeine kick. Made with real coffee extract, they’re the ultimate energy boost for when the day gets long.

🧋 Caffebene Hazelnut Coffee Pouch Drink

Cool, smooth, and nutty – this iced hazelnut coffee pouch is your post-festival chill-out moment. Just pop it in the fridge, shake well, and enjoy!

🐻 Ginbis Dream Animals Biscuits (Banana Milk Flavour)

Fun, educational, and tasty – these banana milk biscuits are printed with cute animal names in English. They bring the same joy as the Boryeong festival’s foam parties… just drier.

🎉 MUD, SWEETS & SUMMER VIBES

The Boryeong Mud Festival is about letting go, having fun, and embracing the mess – and this box captured all that in snack form. From squishy mochi to smooth coffee, bubbly chocolate to savoury puffs, we wanted to give you a playful mix of textures and flavours to brighten your summer.

We hope you got a little muddy with us this month (figuratively, of course)!
