Our name is derived from a combination of the Japanese for “delicious” – Oishī (美味しい) and “soy sauce”, a much loved staple across all of East Asia
Meet the Founders
Hi! It’s great to meet you!
Oisoy came into being in 2022, founded by husband and wife team Sophia and Duncan. We started a couple of by selling individual Asian food products on our website and other sales platforms such as Etsy and TikTok. We began in our spare bedroom, before selling all our furniture and taking over the lounge. Once the kitchen started disappearing under stock, we decided it was time for Oisoy to leave home and we moved it to a small commercial unit down the road from us.
We found we had a talent for putting together amazing, curated gift boxes and so at the end of 2024, we took the bold step to change the business to only offer an amazing monthly subscription box of incredible Asian snacks.
