Oisoy is a shop for people who love cooking Asian food! We are your online supermarket that stocks all the must-have cupboard staples and the latest trending Asian ingredients – delivered straight to your door!
We like to keep cooking Asian food as simple as possible by doing all the leg work of sourcing and stocking all the ingredients you’ll need to create your best Asian dishes every time!
Our name is derived from a combination of the Japanese for “delicious” – Oishī (美味しい) and “soy sauce”, a much loved staple across all of East Asia.
The Founders
Sophia & Duncan
Being a first-generation Chinese immigrant, Sophia loves cooking food from Asia, especially dishes close to her Chinese roots.
Creating her favourite Asian dishes meant special trips to an Asian supermarket to stock up on the most incredible, must-have ingredients. Sophia and Duncan wanted to make these ingredients more accessible. So Oisoy was born.
